What I've Been Reading Instead of Cleaning My House

Hi, I'm Snuggle...

OK, I admit it. I love walking by homes while the dryer vent is spewing out delicious aromas of Bounce, Downey, or whatever other dryer sheets there are out there (I'm too cheap to buy them, so I have to live vicariously through others' laundry experiences). Is there anything that smells better?

Oh,lois, you gotta write the Dryer sheet companies and tell them that!

I love those smells too. I use the generic Costco brand of dryer sheets. It doesn't permeate the air like the others. Once I named the houses I passed on my regular exercise route--oh that's the Downy house, that one's a Snuggle house. It gets pretty intense now that there are scents created within each brand just to throw me off my game...Mountain Fresh or Summer Rain and the like.

I love the smell too...although I must say that the smell of a clean baby is my all time favorite smell!

I don't do dryer sheets, but I do love the smell when other people do.

I love the dryer sheet smell - but I can never get my laundry detergent smells and the dryer sheet smells to match.

Right now, I'm washing in Tide with Febreeze Lavender Somethingorother (too lazy to go check) and drying with Downey, Original April Fresh scent.

Without dryer sheets, how do you tame the static?

AMN2DEEP -- I'll have to add them to my list of companies I'm writing to in hopes of getting free coupons.

RYNELL -- glad to hear other people love those smells, too.

BOUFMOM9 -- oh, we should invent a Clean Baby perfume! We'll make millions! That's the best smell ever.

CW -- yes, love that smell.

D&L -- in the words of GEO, static cling is the new black.

NO!! I live in a town home, and my neighbors dryer vent is on my porch. It is absolute heaven. They buy expensive softener. When I am at the grocery store I sniff all the boxes looking for their scent...haven't found it yet.

McMILLANS -- isn't that funny about fabric softeners? Whoever is in charge of making those scents is a genius (maybe an evil genius).

Downy Simple Pleasures Vanilla and Lavender... makes me look forward to laundry day (well not really but close).

I use Gain for the smell. When Bounce came out with a dryer sheet with a touch of Gain.....Laundry heaven. But I've gotten over it.

That's still not quite as delicious to me as walking past the Bombay House block. But close.

RABIDRUNNER -- ooh, that sounds heavenly (do you notice that sometimes I call you "Rapid Runner"?).

B -- another heavenly scent!

GEO -- you can still walk down that block? We haven't ruined it for you with Nigel's infamous choking episode?

Valentine's day I came home to see a beautifully wrapped gift addressed to "Lois" on my porch.

Imagine my surprise and delight when I opened it and there were boxes and boxes of dryer sheets!

April Fresh, Mountain Fresh, Summer Breeze, Original Fresh, Fresh Scent!

Oh, now MY home will smell the best! I can hardly wait to do some laundry.

THANK YOU DRYER SHEET FAIRY!!!
