That little Scottish restaurant...

So the other day we ate at McDonald's (thanks to our Secret Santa gift card) and we took a good look at the neon characters outside the children's play area.

Is it just me, or is Grimace flipping everyone the bird?

It looks like Grimace has only three fingers. I think the real question is... "Do you have to have five fingers to flip the bird?" Or better yet "What the heck IS Grimace?" I had a friend who called his grandma "Grimace".

Once again, you've outdone yourself with the title.

Well now, shame on him--and even at a children's play area--No wonder his name is Grimace!

lois, you crack me up!!

And here I was thinking that there was some place in Provo that served "good" haggis!

That would be just like Grimace, you know?

It took me until the middle of the night last night to figure out the title.....I sat up in bed and giggled. DUH!!

I don't know if it counts when you only have three fingers and they are kind of webbed...but it does appear to be the bird.

RABIDRUNNER & RYNELL -- interesting hypothesis, can you flip the bird with only three fingers? Hm.

RAPIDRUNNER, ELIZABETH W & B -- I'm glad you appreciate the title. I actually stole it from the movie "Time After Time." Malcolm McDowell is H.G. Welles and he makes a time machine. He goes to the future and eats at McDonald's and refers to it as "that Scottish restaurant." Sorry, no haggis.

AMN2DEEP -- yes, what's up with that? I'm surprised my kids haven't started emulating him.

CW -- I think it's more in keeping with the Hamburgler's personality, myself.

BOUFMOM9 -- yeah, I'm sure he's giving everyone the finger as they drive away with the WRONG order (as always happens to me).

Love the flippin Grimace!

Lois - I'm tagging you!

Now you have to go to my blog to see the rules.

p.s. How do you know Debi a/k/a Boufmom9? From moi?

LISA -- I'm tagged? Last time I was tagged I chickened out because there was no way I could compete with the other bloggers who did the same meme. I'll have to check out the rules. Maybe I'll be brave this time.

I'm guessing boufmom9 discovered my blog through your blog. She's awesome!

You are braver now because you have partaken of the McHaggis.

I think Grimace is expressing in his own way that if it's not Scottish, it's crap!

GEO -- I totally agree.
